Getting G_DEFINE_BOXED_TYPE in?

Hey,

Could we get G_DEFINE_BOXED_TYPE() and G_DEFINE_POINTER_TYPE() in?
Having them integrated in the 2.16.x would be nice. It seems like a
pretty trivial patch that just completes the the G_DEFINE* convenience
apis so that threaded applications will become easy to write.

There is a patch that looks sane at:
