I guess a similar thing happened recently for Anders Lund in
kdesupport/soprano. In his case the executable run to get its return
value "vanished" due to a system upgrade. I suggest to check what your
CMakeCache.txt shows for GGZCONFIG_EXECUTABLE and wether that file
actually exists.
IMHO the GGZ.cmake should check for REG being empty before using it in
an if or something else.
