That's right, but we've mostly used kde-soc-mentor to discuss how to evaluate the projects and how to deal with issues found. That's why the list is private. On the other hand, discussing how KDE's participation in SoC can and should be more public. Students have a vested interest in that. At last year's aKademy, I held a BoF on the subject and it was very productive. And anyone was allowed to join. The best forum for this discussion would then be the kde-soc@ mailing list, but I'd like to keep that a low-traffic list for administrative stuff. That is, informing the students and mentors of upcoming deadlines. All development questions are directed to specific mailing lists anyways. So, in the end, I can't come up with any valid mailing list to have a frank and open discussion. -- Thiago Macieira - thiago (AT) macieira.info - thiago (AT) kde.org PGP/GPG: 0x6EF45358; fingerprint: E067 918B B660 DBD1 105C 966C 33F5 F005 6EF4 5358
