I tried aptitude purge libjack0, but it wants to remove 346 packages including
the whole KDE3. This is not an option.

kdelibs:

-- The following external packages were located on your system.
-- This installation will have the extra features provided by these packages.
+ ALSA

-- Found ALSA: /usr/lib/libasound.so

I have libasound2-dev installed. I also have libxine-dev installed.

kdebase:
kcm_phononxine_LIB_DEPENDS:STATIC=/usr/lib/libQtSvg.so;/usr/lib/libQtCore.so;-lpthread;kdecore;-lSM;/usr/lib/libICE.so;/usr/lib/libX11.so;/usr/lib/libXext.so;/usr/lib/libXft.so;/usr/lib/libXau.so;/usr/lib/libXdmcp.so;/usr/lib/libXpm.so;/usr/lib/libQtGui.so;/usr/lib/libQtXml.so;/usr/lib/libXtst.so;/usr/lib/libXcursor.so;/usr/lib/libXfixes.so;/usr/lib/libXrender.so;/opt/kde4/lib/libkdeui.so;/usr/lib/libxine.so;

I already did that. KDE4 is installed in /opt/kde. I can start a KDE4 session
from kdm. But without sound.
