Very good suggestion. The term "restoring" might be more precise, but in the end the result is pretty much the same, i.e. the session has all programs running the way one wants them to. The additional advantage above normal autostarting is that a session restored program can, at the time of session saving, also save configuration values a normal startup might not have. Traditional autostarting, i.e. independently but still automatically starting a program, is still available as an additional option. One can simply drag an entry from the K-menu to a Konqueror window currently showing the KDE Autostart folder.
