No, I don't think so. I am using xorg-server 1.4.0.90-r3. Is there any
problem with this version I am not aware of?

xorg-server-9999 doesn't work with kde4 but works with kde 3.5.9. and i had the same issues with that version. that's why i was asking that. maybe it's mesa related. as libdrm are you using the 9999 or the 2.3 branch?! i've seen that mesa 7 has problem with the latest drm in git since it has some abi changes.
