[Mingw-msys] compatibility of libs with MS VC compiler

Hi,

i have a question regarding the compatibility of static and/or dynamix 
libraries that were generated with MinGW.

Can i link these libraries without problems with code generated with
Microsoft Visual C?

I need to provide a static library for further processing with MS Visual C
and i like programming in a Unix environment much more.

Are there restrictions to maybe the versions of the tools used, or code 
constructions?
