[Mingw-msys] Enabling bash-3.1 features

Hello,

  This concerns bash-3.1-MSYS-1.0.11-snapshot.tar.bz2
  I am unable to get all the features mentioned in www.caliban.org/bash
  to work.

  For example:  
  
  1) In vi mode, <tab> does not work to do completions.
     Decided to try out emacs mode, but:

  2) In emacs mode, need to hit <tab> twice to complete even after 
     issuing "set show-all-if-ambiguous on" 

  3) In emacs mode, cannot get the following to work:

         "\ep": history-search-backward
         "\en": history-search-forward 

     Tried it with other "keys" such as "\e[A" "\e[B" "\e[5~" and "\e[6~"

  So how to actually use the features mentioned in that link?
