Presumably it is a shell script? Does it have a shebang on its first
line? (i.e. does the first line start with `#! /bin/sh', (without the
quotes, and the `#!' in columns 1-2))? It needs that to make MSYS view
it as executable, since it lacks a qualifying file name extension.
