- Subject: [Mingw-msys] trouble compiling gdb - bfd / sh.exe path issue
Hi,
I'm trying to compiled gdb from msys and mingw, and I'm running into the
following issue:
configure: creating ./config.status
config.status: creating Makefile
config.status: creating testsuite/Makefile
config.status: creating config.h
c:\usr\MinGW-nuwen\bin\sed.exe: file ./confstat2000-92/undefs.sed line 9:
unterminated `s' command
c:\usr\MinGW-nuwen\bin\sed.exe: file ./confstat2000-92/undefs.sed line 4:
unterminated `s' command
config.status: config.h is unchanged
config.status: executing default commands
Configuring in ./bfd
c:/src/gdb-6.8/bfd/configure:
c:/src/gdb-6.8/bfd/c:/usr/msys/1.0/bin/sh.exe: No such file or directory
c:/src/gdb-6.8/bfd/configure: exec:
c:/src/gdb-6.8/bfd/c:/usr/msys/1.0/bin/sh.exe: cannot execute: No such
file or directory
make[1]: *** [configure-bfd] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `c:/src/gdb-6.8'
make: *** [all] Error 2
where sh.exe is of course in c:/usr/msys/1.0/bin . it's strange it's
prepending c:/src/gdb-6.8/bfd/ in front of it. why would it do so? does
anyone has an idea how this could be fixed?
Akos
