How do I copy and paste on msys shell environment? I searched but couldn't
find any article about it.
I am using minGW/Msys versions 5.1.3 and 1.0.10
uname -a shows the following:
MINGW32_NT-5.1 MRATIN-WXP 1.0.10(0.46/3/2) 2004-03-15 07:17 i686 unknown
on telnet/ssh client like putty, I can use left mouse click to drag and select
and right click to paste on the prompt. I am wondering if minGW/msys shell
supports similar behavior.
Also I installed bash, but when I use it, the env. variable $SHELL still says
I am on sh. Anybody have any comment/suggestion?
--------excerpt of commands -----------------
$ which bash
/bin/bash
mratin@MRATIN-WXP /c/msys/1.0/doc/msys
$ bash
mratin@MRATIN-WXP /c/msys/1.0/doc/msys
$ echo $SHELL
/bin/sh
thanks,
--Ratin
