Earnie,

   I think I have a solution?  I have modified the code to use 'Threads'.  I
don't have the audio portion working yet, so I don't know for sure that this
will work.  The program exits before I can complete the testing.  I will keep
you posted.

   This was a lot easier with 'select'!  I did get winedbg working which helps.
I am surprised that I can develop the code under Linux, MinGW and wine.  Nice
work guys.
