[Mingw-users] mingw version upgrade breaks application

Hi all,

I have been building an application with debian's mingw32 cross-compiler
version 3.4.5 (stable) for some time. Recently I have upgraded the mingw
suite to version 4.2.1 (debian testing).

The application builds fine with both version, but while it works
without problems when built with 3.4, it segfaults after some 30s when
built with the 4.2 version. The app is a C++ console application, with
some 10 or so
threads. GDB points the SEGV to code inside native windows dlls, but the
specifics vary from run to run.

I someone has suggestions on how to handle the issue or debug it, I
would love to hear them.
