I will file a debian bug if it turns out to be a problem specific to the
debian package. The debian changelog states that the changes are only in
packaging.
What I look forward here is to understand better what is going on, since
the difference between the version of the application that works and the
one which does not is the mingw suite version used to build it. To do
that, I am counting on expert advice on how to pinpoint the problem and
debug its causes, since I am stucked.
