hmm... thanks for your comment. GTK has C++ bindings & afaik, it's also 
available on a number of platforms..

i've seen GNOME (which sits on top of GTK) already ported to a number of 
platforms, i've seen GIMP for windows & pidgin for windows.
i've used GTK myself many years before too.
seems quite popular if u ask me.

so i'm just trying to understand more as i've not had the time luxury to 
try out both Qt & Wx too.
