No problem at all - and please don't feel that I'm nagging. Your help is

To be honest, I know very little about the CRT details. Python itself is 
not likely to be an issue, as it is currently being built with MSVC 7.1, 
so it won't be using new CRT features. And in any case, mingw is only 
going to be used to build extensions for Python, which will likely use 
an even smaller subset of the CRT functions.

If I do find any issues, though, I will certainly supply patches back.
