Didn't actually find a thread around that time - but there were some earlier
ones regarding (v)snprintf and C99 non-conformance.
I'd like to see the failure that my testcase demonstrated fixed in a future
release. Will that happen as a matter of course ? ... or is there some
action I need to take ?
