What does "the 5.1.3 vsnprintf" mean? The only version that matters is
the version of mingw-runtime, and there has only been one release that
contains the change, 3.14. If you're saying that prior to the change
that calling vsnprintf gets the old MS code, then yes, that is how the
direction of time flows. :-)
