Sounds like your list of displacement activities is even longer than
mine. Since my coffee's not yet finished, I tried changing
> // non-const function
> int do_something_non_const() {};
to:
// non-const function, pretending to be const, with suitable
// 'mutable' declarations
int do_something_non_const() const {};
and it does now compile without error on smarter compilers.
Back to trying to make some sense of the bizarre wackiness of
Gates-world... :(
