Heya Dave,

There looks to be a bug when setting --prefix that causes libexpat.a  
to not be found.  I had to set the prefix path manually in configure  
to get it working.  It could be my lack of knowledge on the 'magic'  
going on behind the scenes, but i would think the behavior of  
specifying --prefix=<something> and setting configure's prefix path  
would be the same.

There's also a --with-expat-dir=<somepath> that didn't seem to help  
any, but ymmv.  The --with-expat flag is a yes/no afaik.
