Oh wait, I do see "binutils-2.17.50-20060824-1.tar.gz" on my desktop.  
I've no idea what it's doing there. Or what I'm meant to do with it.  
Even if I had an app installed to untar and ungzip the thing... I  
still wouldn't know where to put the files or which files to run on  
install.
