Old bug fixed in the 1.0.11 Technology Preview release.  You can grab
the MSYS-1.0.11-20071204.tar.bz2 file and replace the msys-1.0.dll file
in you /bin directory.  You'll need to have all sessions of MSYS closed
to do the copy of the dll.

It worked. Beyond Compare says now  18958 files match exactly :)
