Thanks Aaron, I'm totally pumped by this (I even blogged about it already).

The first thing I've run into is that the gcc-core package seems to be 
missing libgcc.a and I'm getting link errors about missing -lgcc. I do 
see it in the 7z file. I can switch to that for now.
