Thanks for the apology. You can avoid that by simply moving the cursor
down, to position your reply in context. You may need to configure
some option, to have the original text properly quoted.

There may be no thread view, but it still obeys the rules with regard to
preserving message threading. However, this could hardly be described
as a mistake; you have deliberately *replied* to another subscriber's
message, when you actually had nothing to say in the context of that
original message.

That's easy; NEVER reply to any message, when you have nothing to say in
relation to the subject matter. Save the mailing list address in your
contacts list, and when you want to start a discussion on a new
subject, send a new mail to that address.

Trash? I think not, for they all apply to the manner in which you
opened this discussion.

Then perhaps you need to invest in a better dictionary.

Ha, Ha. While I appreciate the difficulties experienced by non-English
speakers, when communicating on an English language list, there is no
way I will ever communicate in Chinese. This is not to say that for me
it has to be English or nothing; I already know a sufficient smattering
of French, German, Spanish and Dutch/Afrikaans to survive in countries
where those languages are spoken, although my abilities may not extend
to a conversational level.

Keith.
