[Mingw-users] password prompt problem in msys-bash

I find such a problem when I use fossil (a version control system) in
msys-bash: there is no response after I enter the password.

I also tried plink in the msys-bash. It requires password again and
again.

And the password is not shown as ******.

When I switch to cmd, there is no such problem at all.

I don't if it is a bug.

ps. I am using GNU bash version 3.1.0(1)-release (i686-pc-msys).
