error while creating a copy of a table

Hi All,
I am getting below error. This is the only table of INNODB ENGINE, the
default storage engine is MyISAM

mysql> create table tmp_dc as select gid,siteid,has_gy,starts from dc_tc;
ERROR 1206 (HY000): The total number of locks exceeds the lock table size

how do i fix this error.
