[Spca50x-devs] Logitech QuickCam Chat problems

Hi there,
lsusb reports my camera as the following, thus I tried the spca5xx driver:
Bus 002 Device 008: ID 046d:092c Logitech, Inc.

Installation wasn't a problem and /dev/video0 gets created (and is a link 
to /dev/v4l/video0 everything has sufficient permissions). 
dmesg also gives encouraging details when plugged in, see here:

Yet when I try to access the camera - tried with several applications - I 
recieve the following error:

Any help with this is greatly appreciated!
