full confirm.

amd k7 1600, aiptek dv 3500, 2.6.16.

-stalls on picture getting dark (pic 1 in bzip).
-stalls bootup spurious in hotplug at usb 

same oops (pic 2 in bzip)

ive seen this stacktrace a few months ago with the madwifi-ng driver.
so this may not be a spca5xx or even a linux-usb issue.
its something in the kernel core(?).
