Re: [Spca50x-devs] Error while opening video device D-Link DSC-350

Michel,

I changed the webcam but the problem persists.

Error while opening video device Creative Notebook PD1171

Same conditions as before [system, kernel, driver, ...]
The new webcam registers as:

    Creative Webcam Notebook Zc301+Tas5130c
    Creative Notebook PD1171

Hello,

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Application: *ekiga* [all versions] (/formerly gnomemeeting/)
                              [ /current version - Ekiga
2.0.1-20060421-01/ ]

Distribution: *ubuntu 5.10 breezy

*Kernel version: *2.6.15

*Driver: *spca5xx-20060301*
                              [ /compiled with gcc version 4.0.2
20050808 (prerelease) (Ubuntu 4.0.1-4ubuntu9)/ ]

Webcam: *D-Link DSC-350*

Problem: *Error while opening video device D-Link DSC-350*

Initially, the device is opened without error. On terminating a call,
the error
appears when the application attempts to reopen the device. After clearing
the error dialog window, and manually enabling "*Display images from
the camera device*"
the device is opened without error.

This behavior repeats after the termination of every call.

Thank you.
