Cool :) I just say that some distro with kernel 2.4.22 did not compiled, but i 
have box here set with kernel 2.4.17 working fine with 
spca5xx-v4l1-Goodbye :))

Kernel 2.6 did not used procfs that is why the compiler did not complain.

Like others packages with a strong history, , spca5xx suffer for lot of 
variables not in used or not necessarry. I have start to clean up, but that 
is a lot of works, to follow the change try to make a diff between that 
revision and the last one :)
