This camera seems to not work under ordinary daylight conditions yet with latest module spca5xx-20060501 . I have tried so many choices to get it to work. For example "modprobe spca5xx compress=1" unfortunatelly without luck. Here is how the camera is deceted on USB: Bus 001 Device 002: ID 046d:0928 Logitech, Inc. The picture is too bright (almost white) under normal daylight conditions, works fine when roomlight is on at night. It is confusing me because this type of cam is the first recommended by SuSe, just for fun. See the picture attached. If I can help somehow to make the autoexposure work, let me know. Provide some USB snoops or so. I have already asked sunplus for the documentation but I am sure will not recieve any answer.
