Can you explain more about what you mean with "can't access". An exact
error message would be more helpful.

There should be some more verbose output in the log files. For instance,

As far as I understand from http://mxhaard.free.fr/spca5xx.html it
should be supported. But I'm not an expert, Michel Xhaard is the one who
can give an exact answer.

AFAIK, that doesn't mean anything as long as it's not supported by a
webcam driver that will provide you the useable /dev/videoN interface.

I'm not sure but can you try the latest gspca[1] driver please? (At
least it worked for me.)
