I have the same problem with that guy. The distro. The chip. The freeze.
Are developers working on this? Is there any progress?

I just bought this usb webcam. Should I switch with another usb
webcam? Or maybe I could wait your progress. Maybe you have the fix
one month later. If that the case, I can live with that.
