Re: "Technotrend TT-budget S1500" PCI card and the Video4linux@xxxxxxxxxx software support.

I have noticed that there is significant support for the "Technotrend TT-budget S1500" PCI card, which I am excited to see. My question is why is there no such support for the "Technotrend TT-budget S1401" card. I have a client with a new project that requires using one of these cards (or something similar). Is the S1500 a better choice?
Playing the role of the list ogre (yet again):
a) you're asking on the wrong list. Your questions are in regard to two
DVB-S cards whom have nothing to do with V4L ... try linux-dvb instead
b) in regards to your question as to "why is there no such support",
I'll ask you to consider from where such support should be derived?
Perhaps you are unaware that there aren't a whole lot of developers
around who write drivers for v4l or dvb devices. So, perhaps the
simpler answer/explanation is this: no developer with any interest in
writing drivers for a device = no support for such device .... (which I
suppose a real ogre would have eloquently worded as "support doesn't
magically materialise or grow on trees").
